Selection criteria

During the interview process, students are assessed on the following:

• As an individual - cultural tolerance, adaptability, and ability to cope with life at the UWC
• As a member of a group - willingness to co-operate with others, team work, leadership and communication skills
• As a member of society - social responsibility, and commitment to Sierra Leone

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply for enrollment in 2024, you must:

• Be a Sierra Leonean citizen residing and studying in Sierra Leone at the time of the application
• Be 16, 17 or 18 years old on September 1, 2024
• Be enrolled in SSS2 or SSS3 on February 1, 2024
• Have achieved a maximum aggregate of 12 with a maximum grade of 4 in Math and English in the BECE. For GCSE, a minimum aggregate of 36 (sum of best 6 subjects) with a minimum grade of 7 in Math and English.
